OffshoreWind4Kids Event

Tuesday, December 13th, 2022

Congrats to the team at Atlas Professionals and OffshoreWind4Kids for energizing the next generation of renewable energy experts. In the first event of its kind in Aotearoa, tamariki (and their grown-ups) gathered on a sunny day at Ngāmotu Beach in New Plymouth on Sunday to build wind turbines and learn about the benefits of offshore wind. We are looking forward to the next event.

Technical support was provided by volunteers from the BlueFloat Energy, Energy Estate and Elemental Group consortium, who have offshore wind energy projects underway in Aotearoa.
